Open Yourself To Love

By : Rini Palupi Radikun

people, we have to love our families, etc. We have to live with "love" : we have to live with others thus we have to have "love". Everyone dreams of love, love is the greatest thing in life. The question is: why is there so much hate among us? We can be certain that the frequency of people complaining about other people far exceeds of those saying “I love you”. Aren’t we supposed to love each other?
What is it so difficult about love? Why do people love to hate?

What is love and what constitutes love? In its simplest term, love is probably the feeling of “I like the person, I am willing to do things for him/her.” Hate, on the contrary, means “I don’t like the person, I don’t want to be with the person.” Love is willingness to give for others, hate is the inclination toward keeping a safe distance, if not repelling, people. What motivate people to serve others, what make people want to stay away from other people?

The art of giving or receiving love can be difficult for some people because:
• Love has to be unconditional, requiring people to give without expecting something in return. It means a give away, for some people it means giving up their hard-earned resources. It leaves void and it puts people out of balance, which can lead to deprivation. Love is only for those living with abundance, only for those who can afford to do so. In such a situation, love may not seem to be a “rational” thing to do.
• Most people are not in the habit of showing gratitude for receiving love. Children are the perfect example, not only do they take love for granted, but also they show defiance to those who love them the most. Therefore, giving love can be painful for some people – not getting the appreciation they deserve makes them feel unworthy for those who receive love sometimes even demand for more.
• Most of us live in the habit of believing that they are not worthy of love, that “love is too good to be true”. Or people are simply not used to receiving love because they believe that “there is no such thing as a free lunch”. When receiving, people automatically believe that they have to give something in return.
• People believe in fairness and balance. Take and give has to be equal, you get what you give. However, love can be unfair since those we give to sometimes cannot return the favor. On the other hand, love is love because it doesn’t have to be earned. Therefore, love can be quite absurd for some people.

It seems that living the concept of love requires a lot of understanding and willingness to go beyond the fair equation of giving and receiving. It can be hard to comprehend and will need extra efforts. It makes sense that people tend to follow their impulsive urge to hate other people. Yet, we are extraordinary people and that what makes human beings so special.

Toxic Success

By : Mahda

How do you actually perceive the most popular word in working atmosphere which often called with Success? Is it the end of one’s perfect strike from thousand times of challenges? Or is it only the beginning from another big hit to follow? Is it the original wishes from your journey’s desires? Or is it nothing more than just a form of your manipulative perspective from the head?

Sometimes, we are too deep influenced in many terms of success. We unquestionably end up with enormous list to do, life gets so hectic, and pressure climbs extremely high. We, the sufferer, are drawn in a set of toxic-fully success.
Toxic-fully success, demands a lot of efforts beyond your own strength. Your soul begins to feel exhausted time by time. It finally scrubs you out from your sense, yourself, even your social life.
Existence is the human nature. Human existences (on earth), on the other hand, simply tolerates no excessively energy sucked up and more no imbalance. What could be the most possible then following those destructions?
Of course! It is huge changes.
Well, moving from this sphere actually is another story to tell. It has to be one period with strong commitment and awareness. It requires confirmation from your top to toe, from your out and in. Even breaking all the rules you’ve made for the best achievement ever in your life. Confronting all the norms people has made for the sake of their best living in years to come. Despite all, why don’t you just give it a shot?

Here are steps to reach the line:
Shift your orientation management from time to attention (management).
At the same time, do some small changes like be the person who feel more blessed. Do you know that the life you have now is the best you’ve ever get?
Further, turn your outside trends to inside.
Learn to shut up, go to your heart, and struggle with silence. Doing Yoga, praying and other kinds of meditations are probably worth to try.
Release your addiction to electronic devices and let go all the pleasure paranoia. No hand phone, computer, I pod, even TV set.

Good luck friends.

Transformation: A Winning Formula For A Great Life

By : Men Jung

In most of my seminars, I always say the following to the audience "Your Winning Formula is Your Self-Transformation." No success is ever defined without self-transformation. You have to alter the way you do things. You cannot live by yesterday's standard. People often say that if you do the same thing the same way you do it before, you will get the same result. But if you want to get different result, you have to do it differently. The bottom line is you need to transform.

If you look up in the dictionary, the word 'transform' means to make someone or something completely different, usually in a way that makes them more attractive or easier to use. Therefore, transforming yourself is closely related to putting a lot more added values to yourself, and changing yourself for better reasons. There are notably few steps you have to go through to transform yourself. But first thing first, transformation starts from your mind. Your mind is the engine for your actions. Remember this! What the mind dwells upon, the body acts upon. You've got to make sure you have the right mindset.

Quite an analogy to self-transformation, you can observe the metamorphosis of a butterfly. However, before you can see a beautiful butterfly flying around, you will need to understand the process it has to go through from egg to larva, to pupa to a developed butterfly with vibrant colors soaring all over. Likewise, your self-transformation will sometimes come across pains you need to endure and challenges to deal with. Transformation is quite identical with change. Consequently, for a change to take place, it requires a considerable amount of energy and time in making its ways. Most of the time, you will even have to leave your comfort zone, which means to say that you have to leave unproductive conventional ways of thinking and doing things.

Transformation can only take place if you really want it. You have to consciously want it. Understanding your present state and what you expect to be are key issues you need to address at an earlier stage. You have to be crystal-clear of what you want and act accordingly. After which, there come another important element. It is commitment. You should not give up on your efforts. Upon realizing that transformation is never easy, you should bear in mind that changes will only prevail if you persist. More and more challenges are coming your ways. Do not worry much about them. They are in fact making you stronger and taking you higher to the destination of your journey. There's a saying "What doesn't kill you, makes you stronger."

If, by any chance, you arrive at this article this moment, I believe you miss to see great things happen in your life. Well, the good news is whoever you are, and whatever you do, you can make them happen. You can even witness your own self-transformation in a way you've never thought possible before. It starts with a decision. You've got to make your decision now. If you think you don't live up the life to your fullest potential, now make a decision to do so. If you have messed up many things before, now you can change for the future. If you still don't know how to do it yourself, get someone you can trust who demonstrates the characteristics of a person living a great life. Ask him/her to assist you throughout your transformation process. Keep this in mind. You will definitely succeed with your transformation because you really want it to happen. I wish you all the best with it.
